For Vicky's theme, and because she loves crafts, as I do.
Had my beads and sequins out this week, as I was making Christmas stockings for Kelsey and Ian, whom we are winging our way towards, today.
Their UK reception is on Sat.
Unfortunately, it's been a difficult week, as Kelsey's been in the hospital.
It looked like she was going into rejection, but she's responded well to mass doses of steroids, so she is feeling quite a bit better and should be released just about the time we land, on Friday afternoon. So, the reception is still a GO! YAY!
Brad wasn't able to get the time off so that we could leave sooner, so it's been a hard week with Kelsey there, and us here. That's never happened before, where she's been in the hospital and we've been unable to be by her side. But she has an amazing new family in the UK and a wonderfully strong and capable husband, which made this week easier to bare, for all of us!
And we are thankful that the timing is such that we are on our way, to see them, anyway.
Vicky...I will also being wearing purple on the plane. Just for you, too! ;-)
Don't know when I'll be able to upload again....but I WILL continue to take pics!

ooh, crafting fun!
I am glad you are able to be with Kelsey now, I hope she is much better! I know I always feel better when my mom is there to take care of me :)
I heard you popped into MJ's store today, thanks for the words of encouragement, I was grinning from ear to ear when she told me what you said! Hope you enjoyed the UK and that Kelsey is getting better.
Just back home since leaving in mid-October, I came looking for updates on old friends and was so sorry to read about Kelsey's set-back. I hope after this time she's doing much better, I'm glad you were able to visit her, and that she's got a new and supportive family surrounding her! Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you...sending you best wishes!
Thanks, everyone! Just heard from her, and her bloodwork results continue to improve! Can't wait to see her! :-)
Have a safe flight.
