Today, is a couch day.
What we commonly call in the (migraine) business, a "holiday" hangover, or a "let down" headache...which will happen after a period of extra activity, or stress.
Some migraine sufferers get them on their weekends. I know I did.
But, more commonly, I get them after Christmas and birthdays, and yes, vacation/holidays.
The last 24 hours have been particularly difficult, as I have not had even one moment of relief from the pain.
I had a pretty constant migraine when Kelsey was home, as well...since the weather was so rainy and overcast, as it is today, but it wasn't nearly as intense and I was able to keep the worst of it at bay.
I think my body has finally said ENOUGH.
SO I will listen to it, and go back to the couch.
With my pillow, and full week of video taped General Hospital ( ONION, Louise! ) episodes.
Not an auspicious way to start the lovely month of June, but it's OK to take a break now and again...and I hope I will soon feel rejuvenated, so that I can face the rest of the month with a smile and a happy head.
This was taken a couple of weeks ago, but I saved it for a day such as today.
And I wanted the first day of this new calendar month to be one of beauty.
My friend DeeDee gave me a bouquet of gorgeous red and pink and fuschia flowers, when she came to my Survivor finale party....so I took pics of it the next day. I loved the glorious profusion of colour in the bouquet, but this single rose, with its veriegated petals seemed the loveliest.

I know how terrible migraines can be: Chris suffered from them for many years and had to leave teaching because of them. This is a beautiful photo and so I'm glad that you are pulling it out for us to enjoy today. Sending you a get well hug!
So pretty, great processing. Hope you are feeling better. Thanks for the comment on my picture, I had forgot that it was from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory when I posted it. :)
