Attack of the Killer Squirrel

It took a while for Blackie to come back after his first visit ( beginning of May ), but come back, he did.

I wish the center picture was clearer as it's pretty funny, but it was taken from inside, as Blackie was on to me, and every time I got close enough to the open door to take his picture, he would scamper off again.
Though I did manage to capture him having a little rest on the arm of the chair, through the screen door.

I am a bit troubled by the chunk of fur missing on his head, but I guess it is to be expected, given he is a killer squirrel and all!
Oh, look at your cute black squirrels! I remember those guys when I lived in Vancouver at Stanley Park. Ours are brown here. I love how he's hanging out on your chair--saucy little guy

The middle one looks like he is getting ready to box! The left one makes him look like a little bear and the right one makes him look like a cat. Nice collage.

Great collage! The center still is funny, they all are! We have a few black squirrels around here too.

Are you sure he isn't a little man in a squirrel suit? He's much too skilled at walking upright to be just any old squirrel.

He was SOOO funny to watch... He was like a naughty little kid trying to reach the cookie jar, but making every attempt not to get caught.
When he thought he was alone, he lay down to rest a bit on the arm of the chair....(intrigue is tiring, you know! ).

When he climbed the tree, it was because he thought he heard me ( he did! ), but he still sat there staring at the door, trying to wait me out ( he didn't...I just stayed behind the curtain )

And in the middle picture, he was really funny...because he knew I was there somewhere, so he stood up on his hind legs, to try and get a better view...and actually seemed frustrated that he couldn't figure it out.

He was totally displaying human characteristics!

I LOVE HIM! I want to scratch that little fat belly ( or is that his boy...uh...stuff??) O.O Um, yeah, ANYWAY, love this collage, duh, and what a cutie killer! Wonder if his bald patch is from his mother's side?? He may need Bosley Hair Club For Squirrels ??

What a terrific little guy he is, and how nice he's back for a visit! The picture on the right is adorable! The screen looks like a texture you'd choose to do a nice edit...good going!

...glad I came here before the "evening" was over. Took some time after everyione went to bed, but at 1:30, I think it's long past time for me to fold up shop, too! Thought of you today (and your visitors) when I took a picture of both John and Ashley on our computers... Not only did we share, but once they got off, it was time to visit and not sit on the computers ourselves! Having a wonderful time! (good night!)

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments Barb! I did win $500.00 and the photo belongs to Hallmark now so I don't make anything else from the sales or anything. We've been so excited that he won. I never really meant to single him out from the rest but he's the easiest one to photograph out of the bunch. I hope it doesn't go to his head...lol.

I've got some time this afternoon...Ken took the kids to the driving range, and when they came home, they've both fallen asleep...no guilt trip for sitting at the computer!

I was reading through the comments, and came again to what you wrote last night. That's so touching about your mom...as we've seen with our Mrs Smith, it's heart wrenching to lose a partner and try to go on. Something like no longer having the meals he used to cook would be a terrible thing! (Ken bbq's almost every night for us, and our best meals are ones he makes. I'd be at a loss to be alone!) I'm so glad you had the recipe she loves as you can imagine that just made her day! I'm glad she has the good fortune of having you nearby.

I hope you enjoyed your afternoon baking Brad's spice cake. Soy sauce is not an icing option!

Lastly, isn't it a small world that your aunt and uncle should live so nearby. Sackville is just up near the airport, only about 1 hr+ north of us. One of the nice things about living here is that so many people have the opportunity to live near the water!
