I am a wife, mother, pet owner and elementary school teacher. Taking pictures is my form of "adult play." I have enjoyed snapping the world around me and making scrapbooks for ages, while only taking a few photography classes (mostly during summer breaks when my schedule isn't so crazy). I always have struggled with the math involved in photography. The invention and improvements of digital photography over the last several years have removed some of my anxiety and fear associated with spending a fortune on film and developing when the end result might be stacks of lousy, blurry results. I love the freedom of the "delete" button and the magic of photo editing software! Being able to have a forum to share with others who enjoy pictures is great. I enjoy viewing everyone's images and the variety of "storytelling" that accompany them!
