10 years ago I decided to go overboard for my 49th birthday and delayed being 50 for 6 months so I could have a summer birthday in July (HM has 2 birthdays so why couldn't I?)
I went to the store that is never knowingly undersold and had a personal shopper select my 49th birthday party outfit. I did have a number of stipulations. It had to come in under 100 quid, make me go wow, go with my purple velvet shoes and be wearable again.
Within 15 minutes I owned a satin and velvet cross bias skirt, mohair and ostrich feather cardigan and a gold blouse. The skirt and cardi are still going strong and I will be wearing them when I am taken out to dinner tomorrow.
Quick macro (well one of 59) before I pack the camera for its weekend away as I'm now in a job where I don't have to work on my birthday!!!!!!!!
