...........we used to take a roll of film to Boots wait a few days and go and collect a packet of photographs and leaf through them as we walked out of the shop??
Then we'd throw away any photos with a sticker that said it was poor quality and then we'd store the rest in an album like this with flip pages.
Really pleased I decided on this as my last red photo, as this album holds photos of our first holiday, on a canal boat, up north on the River Avon. Many of the photographs have fallen out, and one of these is a very young me in a red cagoule. Haven't looked at these photos in years.
I think many of us will have those old photo albums. Photos seemed more precious in those days as you had to think a bit more carefully about what you took. And the disappointment if you got them back from the chemist and they weren't what you had expected. It is so much easier now you can take so many shots and just discard the rubbish.
@quietpurplehaze youngsters didn't take iTunes of their food and meals then either @suesouthwood enjoyed looking through them today, many are in such sad condition @brennieb dig them out and look through them, such a hoot!!
