Could Still Be The 1960s!!!

The town I work in was officially 200 years old last year, but there is not a single building over the age of 50 years old.
This April I am revisiting themes and photos I took in my first month here on 365 mainly to see how my composition and manual skills have changed. I have put a hyperlink to the original photo here and if you have time you can have a quick peek.
I really prefer this POV. The eye is drawn all the way to the back.

Was it bombed in WWII, hence the 'modern' buildings?

I haven't been to Waterlooville for years and those ring sculptures were definitely not there last time. Not a place I feel the need to go to now especially as my friend Paul has moved his shop to Commercial Road in Portsmouth.

@davemockford Which shop was that?? The town is dying slowly as more stuff is built on the outskirts
