Humble Bee by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Humble Bee

Why do my simple concepts always turn out more difficult?? Planning this all week for Ross' essentials-theme.

Plants are essential to life and the bees, especially the wild bees, are essential for pollination of flowering plants.

In Europe the wild bee populations are plummeting; European honey bees (used in the Antipodes and N America to pollinate vast acres of crops) are being decimated by disease compounded by lack of genetic variation.

For more info on the Humble Bumble Bee and other wild bees I urge you to read any of Dave Goulson's books. He's a real bee-ologist and is very concerned about our bees in the UK and worldwide. He set up the Bumble Bee Conservation Trust .
Cool pov and sharp focus. Bees are so very essential.

Thanks for the bee info - very interesting. I like how you've focused on his bristles here - he looks so different without the wings in prominence.
