It's a great start! What I like about the challenge is that it makes you stop and think - check the horizon, check there is nothing in the frame that you want out of the frame etc etc!
It's very nice - but I'm afraid I probably don't appreciate how good it is because I don't understand the significance of the 50mm lens. A month is a long time...
