There's No Place Quite Like Home

Mary challenged me to depict 'There's No Place Like Home' following my return from my trip to Canada. Apologies for the stereotyping, but for me, it's a nice cup of builder's strength char, gently brewed and then poured from a tea-pot.

Oh Mary this was not simple!! First I had to source the china and linen, and then de-dust them! I then set the camera to M (scary!!) as I couldn't get the pouring tea to show up.

I added instant coffee to the very stewed tea in the pot. I practiced different exposures and shutter speeds to get the white white and the tea to show as being poured.

This was a theefer - Get Pushed, October words - smart (- the crockery) and song title (which I can't enter- I forgot I'm hosting it!!) So I've adapted the title to be six words ( so it's a fourther!!)

What a beautiful cup and saucer. Lovely shot that does make me feel at home.
