Mary challenged me to depict 'There's No Place Like Home' following my return from my trip to Canada. Apologies for the stereotyping, but for me, it's a nice cup of builder's strength char, gently brewed and then poured from a tea-pot.
Oh Mary this was not simple!! First I had to source the china and linen, and then de-dust them! I then set the camera to M (scary!!) as I couldn't get the pouring tea to show up.
I added instant coffee to the very stewed tea in the pot. I practiced different exposures and shutter speeds to get the white white and the tea to show as being poured.
This was a theefer - Get Pushed, October words - smart (- the crockery) and song title (which I can't enter- I forgot I'm hosting it!!) So I've adapted the title to be six words ( so it's a fourther!!)
Perfect! Sooooo...glad you didn't go with the piles of laundry. Sorry it turned out to be more complicated than I had hoped it would be. But your extra work really paid off. So beautiful. Mission well accomplished. and congrats on making it a "four-fer" Now get some more rest.
@jacqbb Bramley Hedge, gifts when girls babies!! @carole_sandford j couldn't drink it this colour either!!! @mcsiegle yes miss, thank you miss, got another idea for tomorrow @365anne oh dear, still working hard?? @dorsethelen many thanks @casablanca must admit, I can drink tea most ways except toddler tea!! @30pics4jackiesdiamond HI Jackie -we only had a few days in London at the end of the Scandinavian countries. And I think you were having lots of fun in Canada at that stage!! It would have been nice to meet up - maybe next time you come over this way!! :)
@30pics4jackiesdiamond No Bel didn't come as we flew down...she stayed at a pet resort where they also breed german shepherds so she enjoyed having lots of "brothers and sisters" around for the 6 days ❤
This is so elegant and pretty! All the work you put into this shot was certainly worth it - it's absolutely beautiful!
