Salisbury Cathedral

Went to boost Salisbury's economy today and spent some time in the cathedral. We even had a go at measuring the depth of the water beneath the cathedral's foundations. The font is beautiful and glass still, but it flows steadilly from four corners.

Thank you Sue (my guerilla 365 follower) for a great day, between us I think we boosted Salibury's economy! (I really neeeeeeed that Manfrotto tripod!)

Lovely to see the reflection in the water!

Great shot! My in laws visited this cathedral in August and showed me some great photos of this font and such a still, reflective surface. It's amazing.

Thanks for the challenge. I'll give you two options for yours. Today I happened to open a huge old English to German dictionary and my eyes fell on the word "chickenhood" which made me laugh. There were a whole lot of other entries starting with "chicken." So option number one is to use any form or meaning of "chicken" you want as inspiration for your photo -- dead, alive, or euphemism.

But then, as I went back through your project, I came across your July picture entitled "The Cat is Scared of This!!" So option number two is show me something that scares YOU, rather than the cat. Halloween's coming up, you know.
