First Harvest

We haven't put a net over the fruit bushes this year but the birds have left us a few gooseberries (but no raspberries!)

We did the opposite, we put a net over the black currants as last year the birds ate the strawberries, gooseberries and blackcurrants :-)

I've never seen or eaten a gooseberry. I like this high key shot of the lovely striped berries. Sorry the birds ate your other fruits.
