We watched at least three red squirrels in the woods on Brownsea Island today. It was cold and very overcast so we were lucky to see the ones we did.
One of our party also witnessed appalling photography etiquette. A photographer hit a peacock with a stick, as it was eating the nuts he was using as squirrel bait. The warden took our report seriously an said they'd 'have a word'

@phil_sandford I'm lucky to have them seen in lake district, isle of wight and here on borwnsea twice!! @will_wooderson I did have a lot of failedred squirel blurs!!
