Dead Flowers

These were a stunning scarlet in the summer when I asked my neighbour if I might be able to have some dried blooms when he pruned them. This morning he rang the doorbell and asked me how many dead flowers I wanted. I took two- should have asked for 1 or 3 more for rule of odds shots as I'm sure they will be on my project again.

When dried the texture and veins show up better. And love the light through the leaves.
