On my walk today I went to the breach in the wall to fossick at the glass dump. Susan coincidentally (seriously it was an accidental meetup this once!) was on a fossicking mission too, so we spent a while excavating. She saw the kingfisher twice, I just saw these birds and some fungi!
I'm really hoping Sue @wakelys has uploaded the shot she took of her welly! She did!!!!
Well I had great plans to fossick for a few minutes and then do the full round walk ( sbout 4 miles) but I think we did more than that going backwards and forwards looking for finds!!
Truthfully, I had never heard of fossicking before. I had to look it up. It’s like our prospecting. Since this is where they discover gold in 1849 that started the California gold rush....there is a lot of fossicking around our area.
@quietpurplehaze it shows our morning!
@wakelys it was fun!!
@cherrymartina as ever we did
@theredcamera we often meet "accidentally" during lockdowns, today it really was not arranged.
@marlboromaam v kind thank you
