Vegetables Vignetted

My guests for Burn's Night are poorly so it's being postponed. I'll freeze the haggis, neeps and cock-a-leekie soup

I learnt how to add a vignette in Affinity for today's word, not sure it has added much to my still life image!
Great minds think alike although you put a lot more thought into your vegetables.

Your vignette is very subtle. Colourful selection of veg.

FAV what a remarkable photo. Fabulous combinations of colors, terrific composition, yummy looking subject. Sorry to hear you had to postpone your event but good to know you are able to salvage the food

Nice food shot

A colorful image. Very tempting. The vignetting is subtle.

Love the colorful veg. I like how you kept the vignette subtle. If you just learned how to vignette, then you could tag it darkroom-newtome, if you don’t already have another technique in mind.

I think the vignette is lost in its delicacy - and the black top. Affinity will probably let you ramp it up.

Is your birthday Jan 24? If so it is the same as my Hubby.

Lovely food still-life. All the veg looks so crisp and fresh.

@salza it was, it's now souped
@shutterbug49 nope, not yet Debbie, already tagged a DarkRoom
@anniesue it is, as ever you're right, but I'm happy to learn a new skill here
@randystreat wrong colour background I think
@narayani all went into making soup stock
@jenbo I fiddled and faffed a bit, so many thanks!
@mirroroflife thank you
@grammyn we'll meet up in March!!! Hope haggis freezes well!!
@wakelys it is, just like what I am
@joansmor it made great stock
@ludwigsdiana thanks Diana

I like all your diagonals...especially the knife and the carrot on the knife is very clever...Not sure the vignette did much here, or if so, very subtle.

Love it.

Beautifully lite and captured Jackie:)

Well done! I think the "trouble" you had with your vignette is the background- since it's black you lose some on that part which makes the lower portion lessen. But I like it- and the composition of your still life very much- it's not missing anything.

@olivetreeann I'm not a lover of vignetting ( fortunately)
@pcoulson thank you Peter
@haskar awwe thank you
@granagringa hmmm diagonals working is a complete fluke, thank you

A nice still life. ( I like a good vignette. Picasa used to do it but when that closed I found the facility on iPiccy. )
