There is a hologram underneath the queen that has the sterling £ and the circumference is facetted with engraving on alternate angles. There is also micro writing around the edge ( if you enlarge this shot you can read it!) all to deter the forgers. Bet we have the same % of fakes as we do now within 5 years!!
