A long time ago I was get-pushed-challenged to pan a moving object and have been practicing this skill ever since.
I promised my challenger that when I cracked it I'd tag them.
I won't tell you how many leaves I floated into the stream to flow down the wier. Suffice to say it was a fair few.
When a child asked if she coud play at throwing leaves into the stream too, the sensible adult with her replied ' no darling, we play that only in the summer'
Never give up, never surrender (Galaxy Quest). I completely and totally love this. The lovely focus and the soft and gentle tones of the water for the blur is splendid. Fav.
well, kid, i must say i am suitably impressed with your dedication to the art. and i am impressed with how this came out, too. that is one awesome panning shot, which i must say, i was tying to do (with a leaf) when the northster and i went out yesterday and i miserably failed. so i panned a kayaker which was a lot easier to do, i would admit. so my hat's off to you, my lady. aces! :-)
