Fields of Gold

Twenty years ago you'd have had to go the south of France to get a field of sunflowers and harvested wheat at this time of year.

The sunflower crop is so good on Hayling Island this year, you can have 10 for three quid and take your own secateurs to cut and gather them in.

So unusual to see the crop not wrapped in black plastic too and someone commented last week they wanted to see the harvest naked like this!!
