Bread Oven by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Bread Oven

Singleton's Open Air Museum is a collection of buildings that would have been demolished but have been relocated to this site; it's brilliant. This weekend it held a Christmas Fayre and there was no tat to be seen. This bread oven is in the kitchen of Bayleaf my favourite building in the whole museum.

In the words of Richard BoB!!!
Love the taste and smell of freshly baked bread. I'm sure that many a good loaf of bread came out of that oven.

Reminds me of the kleftico ovens that you see in Cyprus too, though this seems to be top of the range with a double oven!

It would be good to do Singleton - maybe in the spring? And it would have to be him and me so maybe we could make it a foursome? I'll leave it to you.

That's good - I shall wait for you to be in touch. I am meeting a friend from photography group to go to Mottisfont. For Hinton Ampner you need to pre-book. If you think of going and we have a mutual date, I can drive there. Happy to meet?! We are taking a friend to Uppark this weekend.
