Our yacht is Andromeda and carries Greek flag on the stern, UK and company's flags on the mast.
We've been sailing with our sailing club's pennant and the County of Hampshire's flag Today we're also flying our fun boat flags and they're happy flapping in a howling gale!!
It looks fabulous, but I hated sailing in with gale force winds! We lost a dinghy and sailed through a horrific storm in Bora Bora. That was the last time I was active on a yacht ;-(
Such a brilliant blue sky and colourful flags. Sounds wonderful but, my most hands on sailing experience has been acting as a "winch wench" (their term) on a 12 meter True North ship as it raced against Stars and Stripes. Part of a cruise ship excursion out of Cozumel Mexico. That and reading the novel 'The Riddle of the Sands' which was fascinating despite most of the sailing detail being well above my head.
That wind and cloud formation were foretelling a weather change, it's now back to heavy rain - time to go home!!!
