For my push challenge this week Desi @seacreature asked me to take "an intimate portrait, in black and white". Been struggling all week to find a willing subject and this morning came across a group of 'mature' cyclists who looked like they were having fun and I plucked up the courage to ask if one would mind posing for me! Bob was duly nominated and here is the portrait. Thanks Bob!
Looking at this portrait again to see why it appeals to me so much, other than the obvious things like sharpness etc., I think what sets this apart is the way you have framed Bob. It is not just another portrait. It shows the person and what he is about. I am now inspired by you!
@salza The frame helps convey his hobby! Glad they were such a friendly bunch
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Not sure about brave, maybe just getting desperate! Thanks for your comments.
@paul10 Certainly did catapult me right out there Paul!
@seacreature Wow, Desi, thanks so much for coming back and having a second look, so glad you like the portrait and I am blown away by your comments! Wish I could do another portrait now.
@megpicatilly Thank you Catherine, it wasnt the easiest shot to take all things considered!
Well done... excellent portrait with that extra information that tell us about him. Mind you, you would get a fav for this anyway because it has a bike in it! :-)
