Ben Rover Bench by 365karly1

Ben Rover Bench

This was taken on a 3 day snow shoeing excursion to Polebridge, Montana. Polebridge is very near the Canadian border and there is no electricity or running water where we stay. It was cold and beautiful! This photo was taken of a bench by our cabin that faces the North Fork of the Flathead River. The river is frozen over in this area.
Must have seemed like you were the only people in the world up there. Really peaceful feeling.

What an excursion you are on!!! This is just amazing. The empty bench symbolizes the emptiness of the places in your photos. fav

@milaniet @ckwiseman There is a small community of people who live in Polebridge year round but we saw very few people on this trip. Nice to feel like we had it all to ourselves!

How utterly delightful, such beauty and solitude.

@jessikapanteleios Thank you and yes...it is wonderfully peaceful there. A great place to recharge the batteries - if you don't mind roughing it a bit.
