I ran across this very large cross on a isolated country road. It was so surprising. Someone with a strong faith had built it and placed it on the highest hill on their property. People who express their faith in such a way fascinate me. Most of us are much more quiet about our faith - either because we are timid or because we prefer to keep our beliefs to ourselves. Whichever way we choose is best, I think.
Agree with you here. I love seeing these, there's a peaceful sadness about them that I find incredibly fascinating. I think this is why I love spending time in churchyards. A beautiful cross and a beautiful image 😊
I absolutely agree. That said, I would admire this family for wishing to have an expression of their faith on their land , perhaps as a symbol of gratitude for what He did for them.
