Serra Cross
An iconic cross at Ventura park is still standing tall despite the Thomas Fire ravaging the area in 2017.
According to some accounts, the first cross was erected at the site in 1782 at the time of the founding of the Mission San Buenaventura. The site was designated as California Historical Landmark No. 113 in 1933.
