I was taking this picture on the edge of a ravine but when I turned around, I spotted a red fox just behind me. It ran off before I could take its picture. Sometimes the best pictures are the surprises that come our way (if we're fast enough).
Such a beautiful capture of the colourful fall with the leaves against the dark wood of the tree trunks and and branches -- What a shame about the one that got away ( fox) -- perhaps there will be another opportunity !
