Under starter's orders....and they're off!

As the lights change, cyclists get a two second head start on the cars.

Brighton's bike share scheme was launched a year ago and has proved very popular. The aquamarine bikes match the ironwork along the seafront.

We have the same arrangement in Wellington, New Zealand, introduced not long ago. They almost have the same expression.
