Edward Gorey Loved Fur Coats

photo 306
Today I met up with Laurie Higgins, @lauriehiggins, in Yarmouth and Sandwich. We visited Edward Gorey's house and it was pretty cool. In this photo, you can see one of his actual fur coats, and a drawing he had done of himself wearing one of his fur coats. He was a great cat lover and a collector of rocks and colored glass. What an awesome eccentric genius he was! Here is a link, if you would like to read up on him:

Well I spent a lot of time on the road today, and I am beat. I will have to look at your photos tomorrow. Also, thanks so much to everyone for your awesome attention to my photos this week. It made me very happy. :-D

Great photo! I'm so jealous you and @lauriehiggins were able to go to this museum and the Sandwich Glass museum for photos and fun. I have never been to either and would love to see both. Glad you have photos to share so we can peek into the museum over your shoulder.
