Ah, those long sweet summers - do they still burn the cane fields first now that they have machines to do the harvesting?

Looks like a good crop this year. The only sugar plantations I saw was in the cinema.

Great harvest shot, Margo. We don't see that over here; all our sugar is grown as a root crop, sugar beet.
