@aikimomm They look after this cemetry very well. There are bus tours that visit, besides the hundreds of others who go independantly. Well worth a look. thankyou for commenting

This certainly does tell a sad tale - looks like one of his mates was commissioned to carve the lettering on the headstone.

Really interesting from all sorts of perspectives. I don't know the history of this place but I'm off to have a look. I'm sure there will be archives and with a little research one could find poor old Henry. Love the way the carver ran out of space for his lettering and the different fonts. Fascinating!
