Took a 1-3/4 mile walk through the Francis Beidler Park today. It was a crisp 70 F or so, so wildlife in this semi-tropical location was few and far between. We only saw three birds (woodpeckers - we have them at home), a few turtles and, of course, the ubiquitous watersnake that I could have lived without. I will post his photo tomorrow -- he struck a most unusual pose for us so stay tuned.
