Taken at the weekend....but I thought in this cold weather it would serve as a reminder to care for our garden wildlife.
Thanks to all of you yesterday with your 'safe journey' messages.....I was fine but a lot of folk had a lot worse than me.....7 hours stuck in a car on a motorway.....not funny!
So does that mean you do not want my duck breast and berry sauce recipe?! Or the whole duck baked with juniper AND gin, or the most yummy duck breast poached in red wine ....I'll stop now!
Ah poor little blighter - yes good reminder - get those bird feeders out. I remember that terrible night several years ago now when people were stuck on the M11 for 17 hours or something! We had been due to drive to Norwich that very night but put it off because we thought we'd get stuck on the small Norfolk roads!

Horrible weather, had enough! Poor souls stuck in their cars, I remember a couple years ago people getting stuck on the M11 all night, and I was lucky to get home.
@cglist time for us all to head south I think!! Unfortuantely both the ducks and I will have to sit out this horrid weather. Still only just December and I'm dreaming of Spring!
