Aquilega leaves

Many of us in UK have commented that while many plants are dying down now, some are strangely still flowering and producing new growth. A quick walk around the garden in the fading light and the camera flash on, I found some lovely shapes and colours.

This plant has very unusual leaves, Cherrill - and the color is so light! Unusual for this time of year,

@sparkleplenty1 They are lovelybut are really supposed to look this young and tender in the Spring! They flowered back in the early summer and are now dying back but some are regrowing...very strange. You may know this as Columbine, an old English name.

Yes, the green is so fresh it could be spring. My lady's mantle is putting on new growth too.
