More loveliness

My first picture this year was of a cluster of ladybirds. We are now all agreed that the collective noun is a loveliness. Many folk said they had never seen this before, so I went off in search just around the garden and found 5 or 6 different clusters, around stems, under leaves or tucked into the fence panels. This was the biggest, more the 20 here clustered around the buds and leaves of a mahonia shrub. Enjoy the loveliness :-)
Wow, I've never seen this before! Great focus.

Your garden is a veritable Mecca for ladybirds - and with such bright cheery greens and lovely light I'm feeling positively summery! Fav!

@june aww thanks June.....We all go through downs and ups here I think. I was ready to quite last autumn, now I'm glad I'm still here. :-) Yes it is a winter gathering for 'warmth' ....not a lot around at the moment! They have a type of 'anitfreeze' in their system that helps them survive.

This is so, so beautiful. It's like a bouquet of ladybirds. Everything is so gray where I live, so this spot of color is so welcome.
