B is for Blue Island Bus on a Bridge

I walk across this drawbridge over the Chicago River twice a day. It's becoming a regular character in my 365 pics. Ha! I love the fact that when you get to the middle, the two sides bob up and down as a bus or truck crosses over the seam. Wheee! Oh, and I love the patina on the ironworks, too.
i love the perspective! nice shot!

one of the things I'm enjoying about the 365 is glimpses into other worlds ... I find the red irowork very intriguing!

First glance and I thought, "That has to be Chicago!" Nice perspective, and you should add this week's theme to it, too.

Like this alot. Notice the "b" on the bus. You got yourself a triple play. Nice job.

Very interesting photo... Have you ever heard the saying "Chicken on the car and the car can't go - That's how you spell 'Chicago' ".... My dad used to say that when I was very little...

Sue, I saw your post on my page. Welcome to my demented world! Trust me, I am a piece of work at the very least. Chicago River, eh? I shot a few wild images there around 5am of the Trump Tower and the River and reflections of the buildings. It was in Nov 2008, and I staying over at Alfani across from Harry Caray's. Some of the best I have ever shot to this day too. It must have been the early morning fog!
