I'll Miss You, Jackie!

This is Jack and he was one of the most lovable, cuddly sweet dogs in the world. Sadly, my friends had to make the difficult decision yesterday to end Jack's suffering from a sudden onset of cancer. He was a beautiful 8-yr-old Golden Retriever. Some of you may remember my photo of him with his brothers and sister in April. http://365project.org/Swazzette/365/2010-04-10

I had intended to put up another "Curve" pic tonight, but I just felt I would rather pay tribute to a gentle soul and one of the sweetest dogs I've had the pleasure to know. I'm going to miss giving him belly rubs and kisses on the forehead. R.I.P. Jackie
awwww Sue. so, so sorry to hear about poor Jack. He sure is an adorable pup. I love the expression he has in the top right photo. This is a beautiful tribute for him and I know it will mean a lot to your friends. Sending you plenty of hugs!!

Dear Sue, I would like to send you one of my Rainbow Bridge prints with Jack's picture in clouds over the bridge. This will be my gift to you. If you would like for me to do this send me a good pic of Jack to my email addy: Josborne16@sc.rr.com and I will make the print. May I suggest the pic on the right side middle. May God bless and keep you and yours in the palm of His holy hand as you grieve the passing of a friend.

dear me I am so sorry. Losing an animal is a terrible loss. I'm sure he will be enjoying the wonderful land where my Holly is and all her friends.

I am saddened by your loss. It is always a very difficult decision to make, Goldens do become such a deep part of your lives.

I am so sorry for your loss. It must be a comfort to your friends that you understand and share their sorrow. And how fortunate that you have so many lovely photographs of Jack.

Oh Sue, I am so sad for your friends. I am sure that was a very difficult thing to do. I had to put my cat Jensen to sleep 4 years ago and I am still broken-hearted about it. This is a beautiful tribute to Jack.

oh sue this is so sad, i can totally understand the feeling. our pets are our children, it is so hard to make the decision like that. our previous cat passed away 3 years ago and i still miss him dearly until today. this is a lovely collage to remember him.

That top right shot in the collage is precious. I echo what Jodie said, definitely the hardest decision to make. It's times like these we wish our pets could talk to us to help guide us. Farewell Jack. Say "hi" to our pups in doggie heaven.

Oh, Sue, how sad...eight years isn't long enough... Your tribute is lovely, and I know you've shared it with your friends...it will mean a lot to them, the love you felt. It seems, too often, we've had to help friends here on 365 say good-bye to beloved pets and loved ones. It comes of examining a year under the microscope, I suppose...

What a lovely tribute collage of your sweet Jack.
We have to make some very hard decisions when it comes to our pets - what a sad day for you all.
He is with our "Jesse"- so he will be having a wonderful time!
