These are the six pictures we leave set out on the sofa table in our living room. On the lower left are my daughter, Heather, and her partner, Tina. Above them, to the right, are my younger daughter, Ashley, and her husband, John. To the right are pictures from June 14, 1969 when Ken and I got married, and 40 years later on our anniversary. I hope we've given our girls strong family values they'll carry on in their own relationships. I dearly love all four of "my kids" and my husband, and we all have great mutual love and respect for one another. As a mom and wife, I'm more than blessed.
Louise, I cannot think of a better number 6 than this! You are truly blessed to have such a beautiful family, as are they to have a special mom/wife like you.
Pictures say so much don't they? I really think that you can read an entire story in one. That's the way that I think of you. You are blessed and even more blessed because you know it and treasure it. Thanks for sharing your pictures and your family story with me.
it's lovely to meet your family through your picture. Thank you for your comment on my book picture - I feel it was blowing my own trumpet a bit but I was too excited not to post the picture! My Mum has just started a 365 project - shee's eagerly awaiting comments so if you had a moment to pop over to her page and say hello I know she'd be thrilled! http://365project.org/snowy/profile
Well, hello there Louise's family! Nice to meet you all! You look mah-velous! I'm anxious to meet Heather in person soon, but I'm wondering if we haven't already met. She has always looked familiar to me, but now Tina looks very familiar, as well. I'm thinkin' we've probably run in the same circles a time or two. ;-)
i love family picture have so many framed ones that i don't know where to display them anymore. so i decide that they all have to take turns i switch them back and forth every so often. nice picture Louise
this is getting so exciting, for day six i posted a photo of a photo and you're also posting a photo of photos!
i must thank you for a comment where you recommended me to tag a photo on the theme 'reflections'. at that time i was unaware of themes here, after reading your comment, i immediately tagged it and look, it was chosen as one of five entries! it does not matter to me now if it is not voted for as the winner, i am just too happy to know it was chosen from many other entries! thank you, really!
yay someone else that prints out their photos and not just keeps them on their pc .. they look nice in black frames . I love the cabinet they are on as well . The pattern in the wood is beautiful
OMG, you're right Denise! I missed that one altogether, too! I'll change my title, and you can know I did it at your prompting! (Math teacher strikes again!!!)
This August my wife and I will celebrate forty years. We have two children, a son and daughter, both married with children and we feel immensely blessed that they have turned out as well as they did. And sometimes I feel that they did in spite of what we did. LOL!
what a beautiful family you have!! what a great choice for number six. which reminds me if i had a picture of my family i could put that up for my number six but i dont :(
Oh Louise there's no doubt you gave your daughters strong family values!!! I admire you...you are such a kind person too!! And I don't just "admire" anybody :) there are so many people I have met on here though that I admire. This site is so awesome. Everyone here is so true and kind. And this is a lovely photo by the way.
Louise, I LOVE your photos of your family...and especially your wedding picture!
And I know exactly what you mean about giving your girls strong family values to carry over to their own relationships.
For our 25th Anniversary, our daughter gave us a card that said "Thankyou for showing me what love is meant to be, so that I know what to look for, myself!" I've had many proud moments as a parent, but that was one of the best!
It's the greatest feeling in the world, isn't it, to watch your kids grow up and thrive, and find the kind of love that we would choose for them, ourselves. There's nothing better!
Congratulations on raising your two beautiful happy daughters, and here's to your 41st Anniversary! :-)!
hi Louise, thank you for your comment on the turtle eggs. and no i didn't disturb them but when i got back there later after reporting the find to the authorities i only found a few holes dug around the area i had mentioned where i found them. so i only can hope that they were able to retrive them. now my other question again did you get the new e-mail i sent??
it was a video of my acrobats the squirrels and one of our tame chipmunk. there is only one other way and that is if i can post it to your facebook. you are a member yes. just don't know that much about facebok so you need to tell me how to go about it. i am a member also but don't use it too much now that spend all my free time on our 365project much more fun.

I'm gradually learning these acronyms myself! FYI, if I don't know one, I just google it!
