Monday evenings, for a long while now, we get together with a best friend, Judee, from down the street and share dinner and Scrabble, late into the evening. During the day, looking through your hundreds of pictures, I forward many of them to Judee (and other friends) with little soundbites of banter, my thoughts on your photos that delight, touch and astound me. So as we played and visited, we chatted about some of you we've come to know better. You're becoming a bit entwined in my life. Anymore, I feel I'm living 365 24/7. So many pictures...so little time!
Helloooooo!!!!! I will be back Louise... I am inspired with Lois Parker's dolly pegs pictures but i got the shots only in even number.. I will not be lazy and upload my pictures tonight!
I've started to look around at my surroundings more intensely than I have since I was a kid, always looking for a photo opportunity. I'm carrying my camera around as part of my everyday kit. And I spend more time than I should on 365. Yes, I think I'm addicted to this project.
365:24/7 - Yes, that about sums it up! I even had a dream about taking pictures for it!! Love the Scrabble edition - mine is the tiny wee travel version and I love it too. Of course trans-Atlantic spellings might be a challenge! You'd not get to use half as many 'Us' as we do!
I'm wondering if all over the world there are little clusters of people who are drawn to each other's photographs and look out for the new additions every morning?
Hi right back! I love scrabble tho I dont seem to have much time for it any more.
I love that mental picture Elizabeth -'little clusters of people' all over the world posting, browsing and commenting. I am a complete sucker for any kind of travel and everyones pictures give me a kind of daily fix. I love that peoples personalities are showing through their photos too. I cant wait to see what everyones posting each day.
What a friendly picture. Such a nice way for me to start the day with my cup of tea. There are no words to describe how 365 has enriched my life, thanks to you all.
Definently an addict my husband yells at me on a regular basis to get off this website but I just can't help looking at all the different pictures and getting to know people and also different ideas for pictures I could possibly take myself.
Hello right back at you! I too have to check out all the new pictures each day. Some only in thumbnail, but a growing number of larger images, and I kepp following more of you all.
Hi to you, too, Louise.
We really should be neighbors. I'm having a hard time convincing my friends to give up other board games for Scrabble but it seems I'm the only one who finds joy in it =) I play Scrabble, Literati and Lexulous online like you wouldn't believe - on weekends when i'm not stalking everyone here in the 365 site
Fabulous #7, Louise! And, I know what you mean about the friends of 365 becoming entwined in our lives ... When Barb abd I were hiking, we talked about our 365 friends, favorite shots, personalities, etc. It's kind of amazing, isn't it?
and hi there to you too. time flies but we are having fun. yes there are times when my husband gets a little upset too as i start neglecting or better to say postponing some of my daily housework. we are getting so involved in this project by looking forward to the next picture and "chatting" with our new found friends.
Hi there yourself! I, too, love Scrabble!!! And I love this project and the friends that I have made here. I spend so much time on here browsing and seeing what everyone posts each day. I often share photos with my family when I get home. I am just blown away by the talent I see each day on this site.
I would LOVE to meet you sometime! Maybe in June... =D
This is a wonderful shot...complete with the scorecard and the board in the distance. Wow! I like this! It sounds like it was a fun evening. I'm afraid that my friends and family don't quite get the concept of the 365 community yet. But it doesn't matter because Chris would love it...He'd be supporting you all and joining in even!!! Ok, so who won???
Yep, yep...my 365 friends and their works have spilled over into MY everyday conversations so much lately that I'm beginning to get LOTS of eye-rolling.
I don't play Scrabble often, and I *think* I have a fairly good grasp of vocabulary, but I always seem to get smoked!
I don't do too badly with Bananagrams, though. ;-)
It's funny.... I had my son, his fiance, and my stepmom over on Monday, and we talked about 365, too. I showed them all of my pics, and many of my other favourites...including the squirrels!
So, your ears must've been burning, too!
Hi to you too. Consummed is the word. I find my mind wanders, at the strangest times, to what I can photograph for 365. Someone told me today that it is Recycle cell phone week - All I could think was - I need to search the house to gather them for a photo before recycling them.
Well, gee, Louise, I hope you scroll down far enough to see my post ;-) I started a book club a couple months ago with 5 girlfriends. I then talked 1 of them into joining 365...soon it will be 2...I feel sorry for the other 3 as I know they will have to listen to us talk 365 in addition to the book talk! Louise, so glad you have been sharing Scrabble pics as it has reminded me how much I enjoy Scrabble...and today I even reminded myself how much I like card games by my own postm so I think this summer I shall have some new ways to use some of my time...tho it is NOT like I ever have extra time...esp since I got involved with 365!
Hi there Louise! do you realize how popular you are on this site?:)) I have to scroll down forever to leave a comment :) really love your photos and we are all addicted to 365 :)
I realized as I was walking to work this morning that I went to sleep last night thinking about this project, and then woke up in the morning thinking about it again. Looking at my environment with it in mind, taking photos, looking at other people's photos, the community feel of this endeavor and website - it all makes me very, very happy. I haven't found a hobby that I was so addicted to so quickly in a long time - what a satisfying challenge this is!
Louise - thanks for being so active on this site. It feels like your omnipresent comments tie this community together in some way ;)
Hi back to you too Louise! Such a fun creative shot! Funny how 365 becomes such a conversation piece friends and family have asked what is it and I too have had the chance to show them my 365 friends photos. It's something I look forward to each day. I enjoy scrabble too just haven't played all that much though. Sure sounds like Monday evenings are loads of fun.
Wow! Louise, I nearly got a cramp in my scrolling finger - so many wond too - even my husband asks how "todays" photos went. Great photo of Scrabble - one of my favourite games. There are soooooo many wonderful to look through every day. Thank goodness for 24 hours in the day is all I can say!! :)
Thanks Louise for reminding me to put my number on the photo - I forgot!!! you are very kind! (sorry about the previous post being a bit all over the place - the computer had a hiccup while I was typing (that's my story anyway) :)
louise that must have been a fun night! i really appreciate all your comments on my photos. i too realized im not following you and i am as of right now :)
Hi to you too! I should introduce myself properly too. My name is Ann Grandy. But since I use my daughters' first names in my descriptions, I am too cautious to change my screen name. :-)
Seven, indeed .....
I agre - so many photos, so little time!
That looks like an original scrabble board!?

How eloquently you phrased your lovely post! Backatcha, my friend!
I could get lost on this site, forever. :-)
