A little fun here with our daughters, Ashley (l) and Heather (r). Many of you answered below thinking that was me, so wanted to let you know I'm not nearly that young...though there's an undeniable family resemblence. (Ash looks more like Ken)
What a long day, but in large part, thanks to your well wishes, we had a safe and uneventful trip and tonight, we're settled into John & Ashley's home in Chicago. Heather picked us up at the height of rush hour, so the transition from small town to big city was a shock to the system as we sat in traffic for nearly an hour. Still, we couldn't be happier to see our kids again and we went out to celebrate with Margaritas and Mexican food! (I've been without the latter all summer!)
Tonight I'll dream of a summer-gone-by, wonderful friends, and the world from 37,000 feet. It's been a dizzying day and I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep. I'll wake tomorrow and will be ready to see what Chicago has in store!
what a great shot! you both look amazing!!! sounds like a great dinner... i could use some good mexican food right now. my fave place for that is in des moines, about 2 hrs away.....grrrr!! can't wait to see what pics you get in chi-town!
What a great shot!
Exciting times ahead for you both.
I can imagine the change in pace would be a bit of a shock.
Enjoy the time with your family - it's precious :D
Lovely picture of you Louise and your daughter , she does look like you ! hope you have a really nice stay . must be wonedrful to spend time with your girls
Oh yeah, traffic is a huge bummer! So glad you made it safe and sound to your first stop. Your grandbaby is very cute LOL! Not sure I know when the due date is? I can't believe my #3 grandbaby will be 3 next week, and my #4 grandbaby will be 1 year old in November. How time flies!
May the rest of your journey home be safe and uneventful!
*******************************************************************************Hope I'm not too late!!! Those are both my daughters! That's ashley on the left, and Heather on the right. Heather and I have often been told we look a bit alike, but let's give her her youth and place her the 25 years younger than me that she deserves! But from me, thanks!

Yay! A baby bump!!! What fun to see how much it has grown! Won't be long now, will it?
Looking foward to seeing you soon! Hope you noticed (and Heather got my e-mail) that we have changed venues to your neighborhood, so no long commute downtown for you all tomorrow night!
Yep, just tell Heather to come to the corner of Ravenswood and Wilson at 6pm tomorrow. I should be there by then, and hopefully Kerri won't have to work late and will be there, too. Oh, and here's a sneak peek! http://365project.org/Swazzette/365/2010-05-13
I shall have to go to spec savers !( I don't wear glasses ) Heather looks very much like you, I did think you looked different because you were not wearing glasses, Sorry to Heather .
Welcome back to the Midwest, Mommers! Uh, how long is the visit this time? If it is a spell, I would make the trip to say hi. (ok, I know others in Chi town I keep promising to visit too)
What beautiful daughters. And yes, Heather looks like you. Looks like Baby will be here soon.
I notice you'll be meeting with my schoolmate and one of my introducers to this site. How special. Have a great time. Will be looking for a photo tomorrow!!
What a fantastic picture of your two girls - hee hee, I just noticed Mum thought Heather was you! Maybe I'll lend her my glasses! - but I have to admit I thought it was you on first glance too - looking even more fabulous and youthful than usual! you are SOOO alike - I love this picture - it reminds me of when my little sister was first expecting - although Jane is younger than me, she had her two girls before my boys made an appearance - I was so excited to be an aunty - I think we have some pictures very similar to this one!
How cute!!! ;-) Heather and Ashley are adorable! My sister-in-law has that huge baby bump - we are waiting for the baby to come out any day now! It's so exciting! ;-) You are going to be a wonderful grandma! ;-))
again just wow. you have two very beautiful daughters...and a soon to be grandbaby as well! You certainly have a loving family and I adore that!
It's great to see everyone back together again. :D
