How funny! What are the odds? If we were traveling on the same day we'd likely be sharing the same row on the plane! I didn't have a cool stowaway shot like the one you posted. This was actually the only shot I took today. Still learning my P&S, but have to say it's nice not lugging that thing around. I did learn one thing today - don't pick the row just in front of an exit row. Federal regs mandate that those seats cannot recline since they could obstruct the exit. Makes sense I guess. Thanks for sharing this Louise. I don't think I'll be able to make it to Heather's shop which is too bad since I really wanted to stop in and say hello. I'm in the theater district and set out on foot to get something to eat this afternoon after checking into my room. I got totally lost and had to resort to pulling up Google maps on my phone :). This is a great city. Wish I had some personal time to explore it. Next time maybe.
Amazing..almost identical pictures. how often do we run into people or situations that we say isn't it coincidental. It happens quite often. what were the chances that on vacation 2005 in Florida at the Hollywood Beach we would ran into a couple that not only where visiting from Germany but being at the beach at the same time we were.. didn't speak the language and were in desperate need of help regarding their return flight.arrangement.. the lady heard us talking in German and came up to us..well it turned out Hans helped them with their airline ticket and the rest is almost history except that we stayed in touch over the years and had some wonderful times at their house while vacationing in Germany
Louise, I wanted to wait until I viewed Matt's posting before commenting on your photo. It was amazing to see how the two of you have almost the identical photo. How coincidental.
I love coincidences! We often get seated in about the middle of the plane, even on different airlines. I wonder if its our routine ie when we like to check in or theirs ie family of 3 checking in at about 2 hours before take off. I dont really mind where I sit except, like Matt, not in front of the exit seats- but I do get a bit tired of wing shots and find myself twisting at odd angles to try and get shots without a wing obstructing the view.
Wow, how awesome that you both took the same picture! This is fabulous! I've never been on an airplane before and the view looks amazing! I know, I'm sheltered LOL. I've only left my home state a handful of times, and only to go to Ohio which is an hour away by car.
That is incredible! I just read Matt's post as well...I would never have thought to take a picture out the window. Of course, I am so nervous on planes I don't sit near the window!
And what a lovely clear shot!
I seem to take those kind too :d
Talk about amazing coincidences ;) !
