Finally home, but still not completely unpacked, I've (temporarily) lost the daily momentum to post pictures. I've still enjoyed looking through many "365" photos, and I've left a comment now and then. (I've laughed when I've been "caught" lurking!)
Today, commenting on one of last years photos, Kats Whiskas http://365project.org/katswhiskers suggested the picture would make a nice painting. It never dawned on me that I could fuss around with Photoshop and do this! I know it's not the same as posting a new picture I took today, but it's time to leave behind the photo I took in Switzerland and fast forward! In a way I was offered a WWYD challenge, and perhaps this will get the wheels rolling again, if only slowly, at the outset!
@jennarichards Thanks...I was offered a new direction to begin again! @wahyu Wow! Thanks for the note! "Doing well" @monna@wellington@tee62 I've missed my friends! How nice to see you all again! And thanks!
Welcome back Louise (and Ken) we've missed you! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday, and that Paris lived up to expectations.
How is Ashton? I bet he changed while you were away!
louise!! i have truly missed you!! so happy you are back--i'm sure you had a WONDERFUL time! i hope you are settled back in and back in the swing of things in no time. BIG HUG!!
Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this came out great :0) Another great little freebie program I use sometimes is Fotosketcher. Now get yourself some canvas paper and print this up cause it seriously gorgeous x
@mrssmith@kerristephens@cherylsue3@lachapaudie@christijo@bcurrie It's such fun to return and find the place hasn't changed as much as I thought! I've missed you all! Sue, I'll postdate a photo of Ashton one day...we saw a big change in the two months we were away! Of course we think he's adorable! And I must come by to see photos of your grandbaby! And one more "Yes"...Paris didn't disappoint! I have many photos to cull through!
Well my goodness Louise. It is surely great seeing you on here again. I too spotted you dropping in and out a few times, often wondering how you guys were doing. It's nice to see you again. Its been a long time. I bet it seems a little different having your feet planted back on familair territory again. This new year has brought about some great new talent, and its been keeping me busy trying to keep up on a daily basis. Hows the Grandbaby? Can't wait to see updated photos. I know how quickly they grow. Looking forward to seeing you get back into thge swing of things again. Hope all is well with your family.
glad to "see" you again!! it's been a while... as you might know, this is the busiest time of the year for me at work, pretty crazy, as a matter of fact, i just finally done working at home (i have been sitting in front of the computer crunching numbers for 7 hours straight! ) my eyes are hurting and my back is aching...my husband asked me why i'm still staring at the computer, i told him "but now i'm doing something for fun :) glad to have you back! i haven't been posting photos eveyrday, i'm not sweating it, as a second year "senior" member, i guess i'm cutting myself some slack, hahaha!
@katswhiskers ...I know I have that canvas paper under a pile of boxes in a nearby closet... (I wonder what prompted me to buy it in the first place?!)
@joannemed Thanks! It's nice to be back for awhile! @moncooga You always know how to say the nicest things :-) And you! I thought I'd said my last good-bye, so I'm glad to know you're still on the block! @cw24 Yes...I think so! @chimom May I share your philosophy?! *Senior* member...that's too perfect! (Or does it not count yet as I haven't finished the Year One project?!) I hope you're being paid the Big Buck$ for all those hours of number crunching on a Saturday! Here's to enjoying Super Bowl Sunday with your family tomorrow...even if it is without the Bears...
Welcome back, Louise! I've missed you! I've been so busy in the past couple of months that I haven't been spending nearly as much time as I'd like here, so I'll have to catch up on your posts. Still plugging away at my photos, though... I think I'm up to 332 as of today (which I have yet to take lol!). I hope you had a fabulous trip!
hey girl!! I didn't want to commit, and will jump in as I can. As you know so well, this project can morph on a regular basis for us. glad to see you too!
Hey, Louise! Welcome home! Glad to see you... you were missed by all of us. Looking forward to you slowly settling in again. Hope to hear more about your trip and your grandbaby. :-)
Great effect ! And welcome home, you must be happy to be reunited with your furry companions. Hope you´ll get back into the 365 swing of things again.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures here again!!!
Glad to know you are home again. Have been enjoying your tour photos even though I didn't comment often. We are on the road now - as my posts will indicate! Enjoy being home
hey hello there! how lovely to see you here again! newbies will wonder who is this person with all these commnets lol! I finished my first year but couldn't leave it alone so I'm back for a 2nd year doing an English garden. Hope to see you there some time. xx
Okay, I keep checking back to see if you've been playing around with Photoshop anymore. If so, I was going to have you give ME a few lessons. I love this shot of little Miss Kitty...so soft and dreamy. Hope all's well with you and Ken! :-)
Louise, we miss you on 365 and I miss you pictures. This one is so cute but I wish I could see your Paris' ones. Hope you'll find time to fill your calendar. How are you these days? I can't stop thinking it was too mad we couldn't meet... Bises
i love this sooooo much! nothing like a sleeping kitty to warm the heart! i hope that you are well. how i miss your daily posts, but i do understand the project taking a backseat to more pressing issues. i am a few days behind myself :0 take care! ((hugs))
Hi Louise, so you are back :) Sort of... he he, I'm the same really - 2011 hasn't really been happening for me in the 365 department. I hope you have had a wonderful trip, and that you stick around here - just now and then at least :)
Oh, Louise, where the heck are you? I know, you are wrapped up in the SoCal rush! I have not been good at keeping up with 365 lately but really thought you would be here. Are you alright, Girlfriend??
Like that ... glad to see that you pop in from time to time. Missed this picture on the daily feed so came looking to see if you are still around.... would love you to get back to posting regularly even if you don't do much in the way of commenting.
Hey there! Thought I'd drop by and say hello. I miss seeing your photos, even though I'm always behind on my comments anyway. I hope you are doing well!
@elizabeth and my "365" friends...All's well, and thanks for thinking of me. In a bit of a photo slump, so not on the computer as much. I go through "phases"...I may return one day! @boysami PS...The grandbaby is adorable and growing perfectly...we'll visit again in April!
@Weezilou Just wanted to pop on by and say hello! I miss seeing your photos and reading about your adventures.
Every time my little squirell comes into my garden, I think of you :o)

Well what a nice surprise to see your picture, hope you and Ken are both keeping well, I have like all the other 365ers miss you, very nice effect on your shot it does look like a painting
Thank you for the kind words. This has been quite a journey for me. My mom had lived with us most of Hannah's life. She came when Hannah was born, left when she was 18 months old, and returned when she was 3 years old. Never left again. We certainly had our "moments" but my mom was such a kind soul and tried to help out as much as she could. Her passing was unexpected, but peaceful.
@Weezilou But we love cats & squirrels pictures, why don't you upload them? :-)
Thanks for stopping by, we really miss you Louise, I was thinking of you (again) this week!
thanks for the love!! hope you both have a wonderful Easter as well! :) I know what you mean about new inspiration. If you find some, let me in on the secret please!!!
How is Ashton? I bet he changed while you were away!
