The last time I posted a photo of this quaint little town, I captured a lot of sky and water http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2010-09-06 in a photo location where tourists usually stand. Since then, I've found another spot that doesn't capture the scope, but I like the intimacy more. The water was like glass and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Mahone Bay is just 8 km from Lunenburg and is famous for it's churches that reflect in the bay.
Yep, those reflections are crisp and beautiful! I just learned that my family's 2014 family reunion will be in Maine, close-ish to Bangor and I thought...how far to Nova Scotia?
I just caught this gorgeous shot on a topic discussion of where people were from and wanted to say i knew where that was, we went to a lovely concert in one of those churches when we were up in NS two years ago in the fall. Perfect spot for pics.
