...so there I was, chasing down a site to photograph the cruise ship docked offshore... Ken took the road to the left when I wanted to take the road to the right, but life up here is a never-ending magical mystery tour! I saw a news crew set up, and thinking the story might be about "that rare ship that docks offshore", I stopped to ask.
Well...!
One of them asks if I can suggest a good site for a night photo (I passed him off to Ken to give him directions), and I struck up a conversation with this delightful gal who's just returned from a trip down the coast in California! As we chatted, we came to realize they're with Sun News, the conservative equal to FNC in the states, and they were there to do a story about the upcoming election. (Usually I'm a news junkie, but this summer has been too full to watch television!) What a really nice group of people! I asked for the group photo as I "journal my days" and weren't they accommodating! Thank you ALL so much!
Meet Paige MacPherson, reporter, on my right and Bryn Weese, Senior Washington Correspondent, on my left. (Bryn, sounds like that's in league with James Rosen, a FNC favourite of mine.)
Lunenburg is really getting known, news reporters, cruise ship. Where is the beautiful little town. Pretty soon the bus loads will be coming like at Peggy's Cove, LOL. my best friend just returned from a week in Nova Scotia and the bEST port of her trip was my suggestion to make sure they stop in Lunenburg. They stayed 3 days and LOVED it.
@sailingmusic@digitalrn FYI... I was in town last night when a huge fire errupted on the waterfront. I left our dinner companions to get lots of photos. Went back this morning & was interviewed about what happened last night...going to be on the 6 PM news... The reporter asked for my photos also... (Stuff like this NEVER happens to me in LA!)
