With me is our friend, Thane, who was visiting from Halifax for the weekend. He made a squash soup for dinner that was an amazing taste treat, complete with a sour cream & toasted-seed garnish! We had friends in who each brought part of the dinner and we all laughed, talked and had a fabulous evening! You can't imagine how we're going to miss them all over the winter!
In the "Local Wonders" challenge, I'll call this Local Grocery Shopping!
@allie912 You're right! That would be the closest likeness...bit about 1/6th the size! Joanne's folks are delightful friends of ours, though I don't know her well.
Well that place is filled with all kinds of goodies, a great place to wander around and shop, but probably not a good idea to go there before eating LOL
Love it! I want a Jo-Anne's Market in my neighborhood! We have a Trader Joe's...but this is even better. :) Thane's squash soup sounds fabulous. I love squash soup, but never thought of garnishing it with toasted seeds. That would make a perfect addition.
