This is a tough one... Ken & I attended the funeral of a peer, the sweetest, truly kindest friend I ever knew. She was a Believer and our loss is Heaven's gain...I know that!
The church was filled, and afterward we gathered to remember the good times. There wasn't a gathering at this house that Lorna didn't tell me to hand her the camera so I could be in the picture; that's one of the many ways I remember her. Several people asked if I'd brought a camera (of course...) and I got pictures of so many people I'd never met. This, though, is my favorite of the day; I know many in this circle. What a joyous moment...JUST as Lorna would have wished it.
Though now unseen, I felt that she was in our midst.
What a beautiful picture, so precious to remember her this way. So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear friend. Sending thoughts and prayers for you and her family.
