You may remember Dennis from my collage...he and Sandi gave me information about their web sites, http://www.denniscurran.com so it was with pleasure I sent them a link to 365 to show them how I'd pictured the day. To my amazement, Dennis sent me a nice-sized .jpeg file of this beautiful watercolour, allowing me to have it printed and framed. I'm absolutely delighted, for the gift was quite unexpected! His generosity deserved another turn, and an opportunity to do some editing on a day when I might not photograph a lot as we're expecting dinner guests soon...

That is a wonderful painting. I love those colors he built up in the bottom right. I also like the slightly monochromatic desaturated feel of the painting -- almost selective colorized in feel. Neat composition. Is this the completed piece?
@adambralston Thanks for the fav, Adam! I just took the photo, rotated it and did a little cut/paste with his hand and the original shadow...have a look at the collage... But now I have a photo I can get printed, and you can see how nice it's going to look! Such a typical Nova Scotia day!
