This is a "Part II Continuation" of yesterday's seagull photo & story. Dylan looked at that picture of the seagull again and again all afternoon and we talked about seagulls at the beach. (I did all the talking...but he comprehends a lot!). At 8:30 we dropped Ashton at school and headed for the beach with a bag-full of corn tortilla wedges. We were alone down there today. The sand had been groomed, so, though a foggy morning, it was a beautiful day! We showed Dylan how to toss the tortillas, and before long he was taking them from the bag and wading into the flock! He had a wonderful time and we got *lots* of delightful photos! When I showed him the pictures from today, he laughed and clearly enjoyed the memory of it all!
We have one more day in town... I'd love to do this one last time... Too much fun!
What a capture, Louise! Not only is it precious how Dylan is getting into the bird feeding activity, you've also caught some great in-flight action! Love that one bird headed straight up in the air.
