Parrsboro, NS ... "where life is authentic", I was told
We continue to marvel at the amazing places we come across each summer/fall we're in Nova Scotia. This charming little town had some beautiful (big) old homes, at least one restaurant the we could vouch was excellent, and this gorgeous 1800's home, now an Inn on sprawling grounds with Adarondak chairs set in groupings, a glass-walled potting shed, and a lovely white-spire church setting alongside. Don't even try to guess how many photos I took...ha! I could select any number of them to share with you how pretty this place is. This just hints at the size of this former home, and I love the autumn colours that were vivid just three hours drive to the other side of the peninsula along the Bay of Fundy.
Everything about this location had a charming, "somewhere in time" feel to it...
Over breakfast the following morning, along with our friends, we dined with the loveliest couple from Bern, Switzerland...and we came away with new friends.
This was Friday, and the following Tuesday, the six of us were gathered around our dinner table in Lunenburg! I tell you...this place has magic in it!
Oh Louise Western Canada was, and is , a big part of my bucket list. As a result of your fabulous photography Nova Scotia will have to go onto it too. I love the background you provided as much as the shot itself. Fav
@digitalrn@ceilidh Well, Margaret, Rick says he's coming to visit one day (and I'm lining up the Realtors to show him around!) You'd be so welcome also! You're quite obviously a fascinating and well-educated person culminating in your ability to be a good writer and conversationalist! Let me know when we should expect you :) Rick's already got us on his calendar!
