Much of what I love about Nova Scotia is *The Weather*! It morphs and changes, often in minutes, so late this morning, when I saw HUGE and BILLOWING clouds moving rapidly across the sky, I asked Ken to grab a camera and come with me to get photos! I have to say that this was the last photo of the hour + 15 min we were out...this is big, but they were bigger! Actually, we agreed, we have never seen clouds as huge, well-formed and expansive, rising high into the atmosphere and yet not all that far from the earth, as we saw today!
Last night the wind howled all night and the rain poured. Today we had this weather pattern and a glorious sunset. Tonight the wind is howling again.
Menacing. Good capture. Gotta love Nova Scotia weather. I was born in North Sydney but I only lived there for about 6 months in my early teens. I remember crashing thunderstorms and big dumps of snown
@akingjr I'd like to stay for just "a little dump" and then head south! ;-) @teiko Thanks, Emilie...want some of this when you visit? @tjchapa Thanks Julie! I love having this town to photograph!
@parisouailleurs I LOVE your comment! That's EXACTLY why we love it here so much..."WEATHER"! In southern California one blue-sky day follows another...lovely and all that... But give me something exciting to photograph...and we certainly have it here! Thanks so much for coming by! Always good to see you :)
You weather is like ours . Always chancing. A beautiful shot of this nice city ( like all the colors of the houses) and those dramatic and beautiful clouds
Thank you for the link and you introduce me to Ethel . Very nice toadstool pic.`s of her.
