My card is "early" but it is also "late"! With little time at the computer this month, I've been working on this idea since the frost was on the window pane in Lunenburg December 8th. I wasn't satisfied with my first attempts to make a card for you all, so after coming through the airport in Chicago Dec 10th and seeing the beautiful, icy festoons, I worked and reworked my effort... There's always the dreadful possibility of having left off someone I shouldn't have forgotten, but I send this heartfelt note to each of you with many many thanks for stopping by to comment when I've not even been present to return the favor. In the new year, I plan to treat myself to your wonderful photography, and maybe even step back to catch up a little. You are terrific friends and I'm so happy to be one in this community! Above all, Thank You, Ross, for creating a place for us to come together and find one another! What a Gift!
Oh Louise, what a personal and sweet and beautiful card and message! Thanks. You're one of my first followers way back in 2010, when half way I gave up. Looking forward to many many more of your beautiful pictures and stories!
Oh Louise what a beautiful idea for a card! I have so enjoyed following your project and your creativity looking forward to seeing more in 2015.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well.

A Merry Christmas to you and Ken! And best wishes in 2015! Wonderful card - love the detail of the frost ... so pretty. Fav. ... by the way, I sent you an email before you left - not sure if you ever got it, perhaps I sent it to someone else by accident?? :)
@linah Oh Linda, I DID get your sweet email... Those last days took off with a momentum of their own... Have tons of explanatory photos...no time! Will return to your note and reply promptly!

May you and Ken continue to enjoy your holiday as you spend time with family here in the Chicago area as well as with others closer to home. Here's to a fantastic New Year filled with good times, good ppl, and great photos to mark each and all!
What a fabulous greeting! Tim and I feel blessed to count you and Ken as our friends - you were one of the first people we followed when we started on this site. The sharing of your life in Nova Scotia has made me want to revisit that lovely province ..some day. Have the merriest of Christmases!
Such a sweet gesture you've presented here, Louise. The frosty pane made a beautiful backdrop for your 'card' and the lighted garland and wreath a gorgeous inset. Visiting your pictures and enjoying your comments on mine have been highlights of this past year's project. I'm wishing you and Ken a wonderful holiday season, a fine finish to the year and a superb start in the New one.
Oh Weezilou! You are such a gem. It has been a delight to 'meet' you and get to know you, your beautiful family and your eclectic collection of furry critters! Thank you for this beautiful, thoughtful card. Happy happy Christmas to you too ♥♥♥
Louise, Merry Christmas to you and to your family. I have been busy taking classes and getting ready that I have not had much time to comment. I have enjoyed your adventures in Nova Scotia and looking forward to hearing more about the wildlife of Ca! Have a wonderful holiday and a Very Happy New Year!
@seattle It's endearing, isn't it, that though we find so little time to "be in the present" in this community, people still leave notes and we each know we'll be there when time permits. Thank you for coming along for the ride in NS; I've tried to impart what a magical place it is to us... Enjoy your classes and this wonderful Christmas season... I Believe the New Year will be a good one, and I look forward to meeting you there!
Louise this is so wonderful!! What a thoughtful and beautifully done note. I'm so glad I came back and rejoined the fun here on 365. It may not feel as "cozy" as it did that first year, but it is still such a fantastic community. The happiest of Holidays to you and yours! Looking forward to seeing a new year full of adventures from you and your wonderful family... :-)
Louise, what a beautiful card (Jack Frost must work especially hard in Lunenburg) and how very sweet and thoughtful of you. I'm sending you and your loved ones wishes for a gloriously happy Christmas and all the best for 2015.
